When used correctly, they are very safe, but we recommend that you always check your surroundings when opening and closing the storage lid of the bed - double check if any pets have climbed inside it before closing and prevent children from climbing and playing on them.
The integrated TV system is also very safe to use, provided that the TV is securely mounted within the metal frame and it doesn’t exceed the size limits required for these beds.
How To Clean Your TV Bed
Cleaning your TV bed is essential to get the most out of your money and to ensure it lasts a very long time. With these simple steps, your bed will feel as good as new!
General Maintenance
Every now and again, it’s important to vacuum the upholstery of your TV bed with a soft brush attachment to remove any build-up of dirt and crumbs. If you love eating snacks in bed while watching TV, this is an effective method to stay on top of its hygiene.
To clean the footer of the bed where your TV sits, start by removing your TV and use a duster to lightly remove any dust and hairs that may have accumulated over time. To clean the television itself, always switch off and wait for it to cool down before using a microfibre cloth to remove any smudges and marks. For stubborn marks or fingerprints, lightly dampen the cloth with screen-safe cleaner and carefully wipe in circular motions to prevent streaks. Your TV will be back to crystal clear again in no time!
When you have finished vacuuming your ottoman bed and cleaning the TV, it’s a good tip to check if all the screws and bolts in the bed are tightly fitted to ensure that the wooden slats don’t weaken over time.
Spillages
The trick with spillages is to get to them as quickly as possible. If you’ve spilled your cup of coffee on the fabric of your ottoman bed - don’t worry! As quick as you can, grab a cloth and run it under some lukewarm water.
