Production Planner
As a Production Planner you will be responsible for planning the production workload for each day, planning and procuring materials, you will also be responsible for day to day activities throughout the production office such as processing and managing orders. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager & Production Manager.
Production Planner
• Using production planning tools, you will optimise the workload on the factory for each day, setting job lists and production targets to ensure customer demand is met.

Aspire Manufacturing Ltd tender for an ERP System
We are a bed furniture manufacturer based in Morley, West Yorkshire and are
looking to purchase an ERP system to support our ongoing growth strategy.
Currently, the business uses a mixture of accounting data alongside various
spreadsheets, and some manual paperwork to manage business processes
including, order fulfilment, purchasing and production. Our inventory is managed
through the Linnworks system, therefore we also require a significant level of
integration work to support the introduction of the ERP solution into our existing
systems.
The supplier will be required to review these processes and ensure that our data
requirements are reflected in the ERP dashboard and reporting functions in relation
to items such as (but not exclusively), real-time visibility of inventory via locations,
accurate tracking of costs and availability, and insight into sales, stock, production,
and performance.
The project is anticipated to commence in late January 2026 with a completion date
of late April - May 2026.
The Brief:
Review the current company system settings for the commercial modules,
invoicing module and BOM, make changes if required to prevent incorrect
postings.
Run the necessary housekeeping routines to cleanse data and maintain data
integrity including:
Nominal ledger
Sales ledger
Purchase ledger
Cash book

Works Order Processing - Allows the fixed BOM to be manipulated during
production to facilitate accurate capture of material used and finished goods
completed.
Material & Resource Planning - Allows for planning of material deliveries and
labour/machine requirements based on multiple production requirements,
including sales order yet to be fulfilled, sales forecast, minimum stock holding
qty. delivery lead times for materials
Barcoding & Warehousing - Allows for efficient stock control via barcode
scanning for stock taking, goods in, goods out, production picking, stock
transfers between warehouses
Shop Floor Data Capture - Allows visibility of works orders through the
production process, and capture of labour time per works order giving insight
into potential process bottle necks and staffing levels
We are also looking for the purchase and set up of 4 – 5 bar code scanners
compatible with the Barcoding and Warehousing module.
What we're looking for from a supplier
We have 7 key items we will be scoring suppliers against, with a maximum score of 5
for each of the below. We therefore expect proposals to include sufficient information
in relation to these matters in their submissions:
Must have proven experience in ERP architecture and system integration
Must have experience of the Linnworks solution
Our preferred solution at this time is E-Max ERP, therefore the supplier should
have familiarity with that ERP solution
Availability of the project management team assigned to the project for regular
updates and their ability to deliver against our timescales
Relevant experience of lead project manager
