Generally, you can use any brand of flatscreen TV, provided that it doesn’t exceed the size limits of 42 inches with our beds. Whether you have a Samsung, Panasonic, Apple, LG, Sony or another popular TV brand, your TV is sure to be compatible as long as it meets the weight and dimension requirements of the bed frame.

They are very safe to use each day, but we always recommend that any pets and children are fully supervised by an adult: prevent them from playing and climbing inside the storage compartment of the bed and always check your surroundings when using it. 

The built-in TV lift system is also designed for secure everyday use. As long as the television is correctly fitted within the internal metal frame and falls within the recommended size and weight limits, the mechanism will operate smoothly and safely. 

If you want to get the most out of your bed and your money, cleaning it is essential. Let’s take a look at some easy steps you can follow: 

General Maintenance 

Use a soft brush attachment to remove any build-up of dirt and crumbs that have accumulated on your TV Bed. If you enjoy relaxing in bed with snacks while watching your favourite shows, this is a simple and effective way to keep your TV bed clean, fresh, and hygienic.

To clean the footer of the bed where your TV sits, use a microfibre cloth or duster to remove any debris. 

Switch off the TV and wait for it to cool down before using a microfibre cloth and a cleaning product that’s screen safe. This is a great way to remove any fingerprints or smudges on your TV. 

Spillages

The trick with spillages is to get to them as quickly as possible. If you’ve spilled your cup of tea on the fabric of your TV bed - don’t worry!  As quick as you can, grab a cloth and run it under some lukewarm water. Blot the area where the spillage is. It’s really important that you don’t rub, as it can make the stain even worse. 

Leave your bed to dry naturally by opening any windows or doors to promote more air circulation in your bedroom. We always advise that you don’t use any harsh chemicals on your bed. 

It could be useful to have a cloth and some light cleaning products close by so you can get to the area quickly should a spillage occur. 

Assembling your TV bed takes around 45 minutes to an hour - even less than that if you have a handy helper! Once the frame is built, attaching the TV bed footboard takes just four standard corner bolts.
