Which fabric & colour is best?

To make sure your next bed fabric is perfect for you, it's important to take a look at the full range on offer, as they have different properties. 

A family of 4 might want a completely different bed fabric, something durable and hard wearing, compared to someone with a luxurious, boutique bedroom space. Of course the colour is completely personal to style and taste, and we can provide some tips for the choice in that also. 

Choosing your perfect fabric

Our fabrics have softer and firmer makeup due to their weave count. We highly recommend the Plush Velvet fabric option as we believe it is the best all round fabric for any bed frame. Whilst remaining a sturdy fabric that can stand external strain, the 100% polyester build on Plush Velvet gives it a naturally soft touch. 

Here at Aspire, we have a fabric that will give your bed frame a more luxurious, natural tone to your bed frame. The Pure Pastel Cotton, made with 100% cotton fabric with subtle colouring does a lot for your bedroom in a modest way. Having a family is all fun and games but occasionally spills and stains do happen. In this case, our Distressed Velvet fabric is a great choice. This fabric has a naturally worn look that will add a vintage flare to your bedroom, keeping things traditional within the modern day world. The worn look with this fabric makes it a firmer choice, making it more susceptible to wear and tear. 

The lighter your fabric option, the more natural sunlight will be reflected off of it. This can give your bedroom more vibrance and life, and if you have a natural light source in your bedroom such as a sunroof or large window, this fabric colour is ideal for you!

Our standard Ottoman Bed range is a classic choice with our customers, with an easy lift base for massive underbed storage. They are available in 6 different types of bed:

- Plush Velvet: 100% Polyester and is soft on the touch. Easy to clean, perfect for families. Colours available: Ebony, Emerald, Forest Green, Navy, Duck Egg, Light Silver, Silver, Berry, Blush, Ochre, Steal, Teal

- Kimiyo Linen: A luxury option that is very comfortable. The surface is extremely smooth. Colours available: Beige, Bordeaux, Granite, Silver & Charcoal

- Malham Weave: An alternative to linen, this is a great choice for those looking for a luxury design without breaking the bank. Colours available: Cream, Slate, Mink, Sky Blue, Ebony.

- Mirazzi Velvet: A bold option, Mirazzi packs a punch and doesn’t cut back on comfort. Colours available: Black, Silver & Pearl.

- Firenza Velour: A tougher fabric option, it is fully knitted by hand by our in-house specialists. Colours available: Champagne, Charcoal & Silver.

- Yorkshire Knit: One of our personal favourites, get a taste of Yorkshire with our traditional fabric option. Colours available: Mineral & Chocolate. 

- Eire Linen: Get a taste of Ireland with this fabric option. It has a denser makeup than other linen. Colours available: Natural, Grey & Off White. 

- Saxon Twill: Made from sheep's wool this fabric is a go to for those looking for comfort. The finish and texture of this fabric is smooth and luxurious. Colours available: Charcoal, Grey & Natural. 

- Distressed Velvet: Get a vintage look with the distressed velvet option. Perfect for households with furry friends and little ones running around. Traditionally an expensive material, the efficiency of today has allowed an accessible price point. Colours available: Slate & Platinum. 

- Pure Pastel Cotton: Made with 100% cotton, this is an elegant choice that will add a nice splash of natural colour to your bedroom in a subtle way. Colours available: Eau De Nil, Tea Rose & Storm. 

We also stock a Scroll Top Ottoman, one of our more luxurious options. This features a fine touch Grey Velvet finish for the ultimate in luxury and sumptuous fabric.
